June weekends

OK, time for a little update! Haven't been writing for a long time.. No good, but Ive just had too much on! Got some time today :)
On the 2nd of June I went to Hannah's and Alice's 18th :D So many people turning 18 at the moment! It was really nice. Extremely good food! We were dancing and singing to Backstreetboys and Aqua :P Heaps of fun :D
Monday the 4th was Queens Birthday. A day off school :D Kristine and I (and Kelda) had made pavlova in the weekend. New Zealand's national cake! It was very yummy :)
We also finished filming Carlijn and Jana's film that weekend. Its about Jana killing me.. :S She attacked me with a big knife! It was actually really scary!! I had to lay under a sheet and they poured tomato sauce all over it. Fun :D Unfortunately was something wrong with the camera so they couldn't get it from the tape on to the computer to edit it.. So much work for alomst nothing, bu we got some entertaining material :P
The weekend after, the 9th of June it was Carlijn's 18th. I met her and her family in town after my ballet and they took me with them on the ferry over to Eastbourne. Very nice trip :) In the evening some girls met at Anna's house and we all went to town together. Awesome night! :D
The day after was Big Look See on all around Wellington. Big Look See is one weekend where museums, galleries and art schools open their doors and arrange free stuff for you to do and see. I went to Shed 11, an art gallery, with Kristine and we made shadow silhouettes and painted our own canvas. It was fun :D I felt so artistic! :P
This Saturday Kristine, Jana and Carlijn had their farewell party. They are all leaving in a few days :( Susy from Italy/Bolivia came to Wellington that day as well. I hadn't seen her since the sleepover in the Marae. It was sooo good to see her again :) The girl's met at Kristine's house first to have some dinner. Alison (and I) had made Danish meatballs for Kristine :) She loved them! After a while they divided us into three groups. A red team, a blue team and a green team and apparently there were some pirated chasing us :P We had to find the treasure before they did. We got a map, some instructions and off we went. Every group had to look out for big dots in their color along the way. Sometimes there was a clue hidden by the dot and before we could move on we had to answer the question. If we could figure out all the clues we ended up with a sentence: The treasure is hidden in the shed in the garden. The clues involved questions about Carlijn, Jana and Kristine and their home countries. It was so much fun :D I was really excited. My team lost though :P At Carlijn's house (where the treasure was) we got drinks, cake and other sweets :) It was very nice but a bit sad as well. We went to town later, but didn't stay long. All in all a fantastic day :)
